- ECEM Unlimited Internet & Calls passes is specific for usage ONLY in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak (ECEM Region)
- Unlimited Internet & Calls passes is for usage in whole of Malaysia

You will be able to enjoy 5G with this rateplan if you meet all the following requirements:
- Using a 5G capable device. For a list of 5G capable devices please check here;
- Your SIM is a 4G LTE SIM. To check, just dial *100*6*1*4# from your phone;
- Enabled 5G settings on your device; and
- Within 5G coverage

All active subscribers ONLY on Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited ECEM plan can purchase any of the ECEM Unlimited Internet passes.

No, the Unlimited Internet passes are for usages on your smartphone only. You may purchase a Hotspot pass at RM5 for 30 days to enjoy unlimited Hotspot. Click Add-on Hotspot pass for more info.

There is no quota limit to the Unlimited Internet passes, you will enjoy high speed internet and upon reaching the limit for Fair Usage Policy, you will surf on reduced speeds.

We offer unlimited internet with Fair Usage Policy (FUP):
ECEM Unlimited Internet Passes Unlimited Internet Passes The FUP limit varies for each internet pass as below:
- Passes with 24Mbps, 10Mbps & 5Mbps speed have a FUP of 50GB
- Pass with 3Mbps speed have a FUP of 25GB.
The FUP limit varies for each internet pass as below:
- 30-day passes have a FUP of 50GB
- 7-day pass have a FUP of 15GB
- 1-day pass have a FUP of 5GB
Upon reaching the FUP limits, users will be informed that they will be surfing on a reduced speed until the pass expires.
There’s no quota limit for surfing on reduced speed. The reduced speed is capped at 512kbps which allows fairly good user experience for video streaming on standard definition, social media apps, internet browsing, etc. -
The ECEM Unlimited Internet Pass with faster speed will take precedence.
E.g., you have an active ECEM Unlimited Internet and Calls (3Mbps) 30-day pass. You purchase another ECEM Unlimited Internet and Calls (10Mbps) 30-day pass. All internet browsing will now be at 10Mbps instead of 3Mbps.

The Unlimited Internet and Calls (6Mbps) pass will take precedence and all internet browsing will be at 6Mbps while you are not within the ECEM Region.
You will be able to continue browsing 24Mbps once you are back at your ECEM Region.

No. They are one-time passes.

Ookla’s speed test will show the actual speed of Maxis’ network at your area without speed caps. However, the Unlimited Internet pass that you purchased comes with a speed cap.
To unlock and enjoy the uncapped speed, you may purchase our Add-on Internet Passes.

No, there are no limits to the unlimited calls. However, customers are subjected to Maxis’ Fair Usage Policy and we reserve the rights to interrupt, bar, suspend or restrict the service if your usage appears unusual.
You will be informed prior to reaching the limits as per our Fair Usage Policy.

It is applicable to domestic mobile/fixed ON-net & OFF-net usage (excluding video calls, calls to chargeable 1-300/1700/600 numbers and calls to TM100 and 121 numbers).
