Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) - Hotlink Campus Ambassador Programme

- The Programme: Hotlink Campus Ambassador Programme
- You: means an applicant to participate in the Programme
- Application Period: 19 January 2024 (11:59pm) to 20 March 2024 (11:59pm)
- Programme Term: 1 April 2024 to 30 March 2025 (both dates inclusive)
- The Programme is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/personal-hotlink-prepaid/general/general-tnc/, Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/.
- Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
- Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
- We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC and the Programme, Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the SSTC and the Programme at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/campaigns/hotlink-campus-ambassador/, including changes to the Agreement. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you may terminate or revoke your application to the Programme It shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same if you do not terminate or revoke your application to the Programme.

- To be eligible to participate in this Programme, you must:
- be a Malaysian, currently a student registered with a local university in Malaysia;
- between the ages of 18 – 24 years old with a valid NRIC;
- have a valid email address provided by your university;
- apply to participate in the Programme during the Application Period, by completing the application form on https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/campaigns/hotlink-campus-ambassador/ (which includes providing your name, contact number, email address (registered with university) and link to social media post); and
- follow the following application steps:
- follow Hotlink social media pages (Instagram or TikTok);
- record a video of 60-seconds or less and share it on your personal social media account (Instagram or TikTok) as a post, and to include the hashtag #HotlinkCampus in the caption; and
- your social media account(s) (Instagram or TikTok) must be set to public.
- To be eligible to participate in this Programme, you must:

- Successfully selected applicants will be contacted by the Hotlink team via contact number or email address provided by 30th March 2024.
- Applicants not contacted by 30th March 2024 would be deemed unsuccessful.
- Selection of applicants will be subject to Maxis’ internal policies and selection criteria (based on Maxis’ discretion).

- If you have been selected in accordance with Clauses 10 to 13 above, you will be required to execute a Hotlink Campus Ambassador Agreement (which will be provided to you upon being selected) with Maxis to be a Hotlink Campus Ambassador. Hotlink Campus Ambassador Agreement sets out amongst others the obligations, restrictions and rules of being a Hotlink Campus Ambassador. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and the Hotlink Campus Ambassador Agreement, the Hotlink Campus Ambassador Agreement shall prevail over the SSTC for any matters in relation to the Programme and Hotlink Campus Ambassador.
- You will also need to attend a virtual call session (details of which will be provided to you upon being selected) to be onboarded as and confirm your acceptance to be a Hotlink Campus Ambassador.
- As a Hotlink Campus Ambassador, you shall commit to, participate in and carry out the activities as Maxis arranges and set out for Hotlink Campus Ambassadors and the Programme during the Programme Term, including the following:
- represent the Hotlink brand at your respective university campuses, according to Maxis' brand guidelines;
- be point of contact with your respective university’s departments, faculties, students' communities, clubs, and societies for Hotlink activities;
- plan and execute social media campaigns within the required timeline approved by the Maxis; and
- participate in Hotlink surveys once every quarter.
- As a Hotlink Campus Ambassador, you shall not, amongst others:
- misrepresent the Maxis/Hotlink brand and misuse Maxis/Hotlink assets, share inaccurate and/or sensitive information about Hotlink products and services;
- make any illicit and/or unauthorized profit from Hotlink merchandise(s) provided by Maxis to you, in your capacity as the Hotlink Campus Ambassador;
- commit any offence under the laws of Malaysia or conduct any other act (including but not limited to, blogging) in any way which may be regarded by Maxis to affect the reputation of or which is not in the best interest of Maxis, the Hotlink Campus Ambassadors and/or the Programme;
- take or engage in any action or conduct in Malaysia which would affect your character or reputation or that of your work as a Hotlink Campus Ambassador;
- make any public announcements relating to the Programme or referencing Maxis without the prior written consent of Maxis;
- (i) be a member of; (ii) hold any position in; or (iii) take part, whether directly or indirectly, in any activities organized by, any organization, body or group of people which are deemed to be against the laws of Malaysia and/or which may tarnish the image, brand and reputation of Maxis; and
- engage in similar or identical agreement, arrangement or capacity as the Hotlink Campus Ambassador which may impact or affect your role as a Hotlink Campus Ambassador, the Programme, Maxis and Maxis Group during the Programme Period in Malaysia.

- Hotlink Campus Ambassadors will receive Hotlink Prepaid credits (value to be disclosed upon onboarding), which will be credited to their Hotlink Prepaid account’s main balance based on MSISDN registered with the Program on monthly basis. If the Hotlink Campus Ambassador is not an existing Hotlink Prepaid customer, he/she has a choice to register as a new Hotlink Prepaid user or convert their current number via Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to Hotlink Prepaid.
- Hotlink Prepaid credits given are strictly for personal use only and not to be resale.
- Upon completion of all obligations as a Hotlink Campus Ambassador (including compulsory tasks and milestones stipulated by the Maxis) within the Programme Term, Hotlink Campus Ambassadors will additionally be rewarded with:-
- One (1) Certificate of completion; and
- One (1) 5G smartphone (brand and model as decided by Maxis at its sole discretion).
- Hotlink Campus Ambassadors will have the opportunity to be invited to various Hotlink events and activities. Communication will be done via contact number or email.
- The Reward(s) will be forfeited if any other following occurs:
- the Program or your role as a Hotlink Campus Ambassador is terminated or suspended;
- breach of your obligations as a Hotlink Campus Ambassador, including misconduct, misrepresentation, etc by you;
- your Hotlink Prepaid account is terminated, or you have ported out during the Programme Term; or
- you transfer the Hotlink Prepaid account ownership to another person during the Programme Term;

- By applying to participate in the Programme, you confirm and agree that you are aware and give your consent to Maxis to process your Personal Data as defined under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 in accordance with Maxis Group Privacy Notice at https://www.maxis.com.my/privacy-statement/.
