Service Specific Terms & Conditions – HotlinkMU Year End 2024 Promotion (“SSTC”)

    1. Promotion: HotlinkMU Year End 2024 Promotion.
    2. You: All Hotlink Prepaid subscribers who are eligible to participate in this Promotion.
    3. Promotion Period: Effective from 20 December 2024 until 27 December 2024 (both dates inclusive) or full redemption of Benefit, whichever is earlier.
    4. Benefit: Free up to 100GB mobile data.
    5. Participating Deal(s): All HotlinkMU YEAR END promotion passes except HotlinkMU hourly pass, 30-day pass and 60-day pass.
    6. The Promotion and your use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/general/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – HotlinkMU Year End 2024 Promotion (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) at , Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) accessible at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/.
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Promotion and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who is:
      1. a Hotlink prepaid subscribers who purchases any of the Participating Deal(s) during the Promotion Period;
      2. a resident in Malaysia; and
      3. at least twelve (12) years of age with a valid National Identity Registration Card (“NRIC”). Participants below the age of twelve (12) years old must obtain written parental consent to participate, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to participate in this Promotion, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent.
    2. Participants of this Promotion shall mean the person who registered to participate in this Promotion, and shall be subjected to proof of eligibility and suitability requirements as stipulated within this terms and conditions and as determined by Maxis.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Promotion and Maxis giving out of the Benefit are subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with Hotlink Prepaid plans and Participating Deal(s) you signed up for during and after the Promotion Period. 
    1. To participate in the Promotion, you are required to purchase any of the Participating Deal(s) during the Promotion Period via Hotlink mobile app or UMB by dialing *100#.
    2. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant Participating Deal(s) which you signed up for. The terms and conditions of the Participating Deal(s) can be found at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/services/hotlinkmu/.
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Promotion and successful purchase of any of the Participating Deal(s), you will be eligible to enjoy the Benefit.
    2. The Benefit is given on first come, first served basis and is subject to FUP.
    3. The Benefit can be used for all day within the validity period which varies based on the Internet Pass which you subscribed to.
    4. The Benefit can be used for streaming and download purposes only.
    1. This Promotion is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Promotion including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy.
    2. The Benefit is not exchangeable for cash. Any Benefit unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    3. Maxis’ decision on the selection of participants who are eligible and entitled to the Benefit shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Promotion Period.
    4. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Promotion, and your participation in the Promotion.
    5. Maxis shall not be liable to the Participants or for any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a Participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Promotion or as a result of any act or omission on the part of Maxis.
    6. Maxis is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
    7. Maxis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without prior notice, to disqualify any Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the operation of this Promotion or to be in violation of the terms and conditions.
    8. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Promotion and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Promotion and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    9. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
