Yes, you will be able to enjoy 5G while roaming in selected countries if you meet all the following requirements:

1. An active 5G access pass or:-
   • Hotlink Postpaid - Subscribed to Hotlink Postpaid plans with 5G
   • Hotlink Prepaid – Subscribed to 5G internet pass
2. Subscribed to data roaming pass in a 5G enabled roaming country, check here
3. 5G capable device. For a list of 5G capable devices please check here
4. 4G LTE SIM. To check, just dial *100*6*1*5# from your phone; and
5. Enabled 5G settings on your device.

What is the benefit of 5G roaming?

With 5G roaming you will enjoy increased internet speeds on your data roaming pass when you roam on our 5G preferred partner. You will need a 5G phone to experience 5G.

Which country and operator provide and support 5G roaming?

Please visit Hotlink website’s international roaming page and select the country list. You may find in "Network Operator" for country that has 5G roaming and operator(s) that able to support 5G roaming

What is Hotlink Border Roaming pass?

Hotlink Border Roaming pass is monthly recurring roaming pass that gives you 15GB roaming data monthly for usage in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia and and cheaper call rates when you roam in these countries.

Who is eligible for Hotlink Border Roaming pass?

Only Hotlink Postpaid 60 customers are eligible to sign up Hotlink Border Roaming.

How much is Hotlink Border Roaming pass?

This monthly renewal pass is RM15/month. It will be renewed automatically at the beginning of your billing period monthly.

What is data roaming?

Data Roaming allow customers to have access to Internet, WAP and even MMS on their mobile phones while abroad.

Do I need to register in order to use data roaming when I am in overseas?

For Hotlink Prepaid customer, data roaming is provisioned to you by default.

For Hotlink Postpaid customer, you can activate International Roaming anytime and anywhere (local and oversea) via Easy Menu:

• Dial *100# 
• select Intl Roaming
• select any Country
• select again Intl Roaming
• select ON.

Is there a minimum credit amount that I must maintain on my Hotlink, to use data, while roaming?

For Hotlink Prepaid customer, you need a minimum credit balance of RM10 to use data roaming.

For Hotlink Postpaid customer, you just need  to  keep your line to be active

What is a Data Roam Pass?

Data Roam Pass allows Hotlink subscribers to access internet via mobile data whilst travelling overseas. Here is the list of Data Roam Passes available:-

For single country usage:

1. 1 day pass: ASEAN RM10, Other countries RM38
2. 3 days pass : Singapore RM12, Thailand RM12, Indonesia RM12
3. 7 days pass: Singapore RM20, Thailand RM20, Indonesia RM20

For multiple countries usage:

1. 3 days pass: ASEAN RM20 (9 countries), Asia Pacific RM30 (16 countries)
2. 7 days pass: Singapore/Thailand/Indonesia RM20, ASEAN RM30 (9 countries), Asia Pacific RM50 (16 countries), Europe RM50 (33 countries)
3. 14 days pass: Europe RM70 (33 countries)

How do I subscribe to a Data Roam Pass?

Just turn on data roaming and use auto-subscribe for Data Roam Pass.

Alternatively, you may manually activate via Easy Menu:

• Dial *100# 
• select Intl Roaming
• select any Country
• buy the required pass

Will I be notified on the subscription status?

Yes, for both manual and auto subscriptions, you will receive an SMS when your pass has been successfully activated. Alternatively, you can check your status by dialing *100#.
