The new Hotlink Postpaid is 5G and 4G enabled mobile Internet plans with uncapped speed, unlimited voice calls & SMS, with the option of smartphone bundles on selected plans.
Effective 9 October 2024, Hotlink Postpaid plans are upgraded with more data at better value for our subscribers. There are 4 plans to choose from:Hotlink

- Network option on your device is set to “5G”. Steps as below:
- iOS: Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options -> Voice & Data -> 5G Auto
- Android: Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks -> Network mode -> 5G/ LTE/ 3G/ 2G (auto connect)
- You are subscribed to the latest Hotlink Postpaid plans

Eligibility Criteria Channels to Sign up - All consumers aged 18 years old and above.
- Applicable for new registration with a new number;
- Switching from other local service providers (port-in);
- Change from Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Postpaid
- Hotlink Online Store – get RM10 rebate for 6 months.
- Walk-in to any Hotlink or Maxis Stores. Find the nearest store HERE.
If you are an existing Hotlink Postpaid subscriber looking to upgrade your plan, use the latest Hotlink app and follow the steps below:
Hotlink app – myhotlink -> Account -> Click “Hotlink Postpaid” -> Click “Upgrade Plan”

To sign up for each Hotlink Postpaid plan, you are required to pay either one of the following:
RM30 Plan Advance Payment RM150 Deposit Applicable for Malaysian.
A flat fee of RM30 will be charged as an advance payment for any plan selected, which will be used to offset against the first month’s bill and any balance will be carried forward to the following month.
Applicable for non-Malaysian.
The deposit will be refunded upon closure of your Hotlink Postpaid account.

Don’t worry, your prepaid balance will be credited to your Hotlink Postpaid account and reflected in your first bill.

Yes, your current Hotlink Postpaid Internet quota will be upgraded automatically between 9th October to 24th October 2024. This upgrade is automatic, permanent, and free, with no price change to your monthly commitment.

You will enjoy your plan’s full Internet quota allocation with unlimited calls and SMS from the day you activate your account. But don’t worry, your first monthly commitment fee will be pro-rated based on the number of days, and the full monthly commitment fee will only be applicable from the second month onwards.

It is applicable to domestic mobile/fixed ON-net & OFF-net usage (excluding video calls, calls to chargeable 1-300/1700/600 numbers and calls to TM100 and 121 numbers).
There are no limits to the unlimited calls and SMS, however customers are subjected to Maxis’ Fair Usage Policy and we reserve the rights to interrupt, bar, suspend or restrict the service if the customer’s usage appears unusual. Please refer to the rate plan’s Terms & Conditions for further details.

Yes, we don’t block any tethering/ sharing hotspot with other devices.

Yes, you can change or upgrade to other Hotlink or Maxis Postpaid plans anytime. However, if you have an existing device contract, you are required to pay the Early Termination Fee (ETF) to change to a lower Hotlink Postpaid rate plan.
Calculation of the ETF as below:
- Penalty Amount = [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – Upfront Cost) x (Remaining month(s) ÷ Contract Period)] + RM 100

No, it will refresh monthly upon completion of your bill cycle.

There is no supplementary line / plan for Hotlink Postpaid, however you can sign up to 5 principal lines under one Hotlink Postpaid account. If you require supplementary lines, please check out Maxis Postpaid plans here.

Upon depletion of your quota, you can continue surfing WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CHARGES at a reduced speed. Alternatively, you may purchase additional Internet passes via Easy Menu *100# or the Hotlink app at https://www.hotlink.com.my/ms/services/mobile-app/
